Blog Post: Choose article on social issues and write a brief summary and opinion paper
http://www.stopcyberbullying.org
Stopcyberbullying. org is a site about an on-going problem called cyber bullying. Cyber bullying is when a child or pre teen is harassed, embarrassed, or targeted by another child or pre teen over an interactive and digital device. The site gives you an over view of what Cyber bullying is, how it works, why kids do it, prevention, taking action, and a brief summary of the law in regards to Cyber bullying. This site is good because it gives you the basic's of what cyber bullying is. It is also easy to follow because the links always stay at the top of the screen. For our responses in class about cyber bullying i found it very useful in answering all my questions. This site is good for brief answers concerning the topic of cyber bullying.

Blog Post: This week I want you to write about something useful that you learned this week
An interested topic that came to my mind during last weeks class were all the different ways you could present a presentation. A lot of people think powerpoint is the most effective way to present a presentation. In some cases that's true but sometimes powerpoint can get boring. We learned a few other creative ways to present a presentation in class this week. One web site you could use is glogster.com. This site lets you create a virtual poster with elements from there site or from your own work. There's also themes within the site you can choose from to add to your poster. Different graphics and effects can also be added to your presentation. In addition you can upload your own photos or graphics into your poster. Theres also sites involving animation techniques and map techniques such as, googlemaps and xtranormal.com.

Post a review of a movie you watch this week (or within the last 2 weeks)
"Wikis in Plain English" Review
"Wikis in Plain English" was an excellent tool in aiding the understanding of what a wiki is and the functions of a wiki. What made is so easy to understand was that it was explained in plain english. This gave the viewers who had no idea what a wiki was (including myself) a clear a thoughtful explanation of exactly what a wiki was. One thing that i really liked about the movie were the interactive examples of a wiki's functions. The video gave examples of what buttons to look for within a wiki and how to use those buttons interactively within a group. Overall a rate this video, an an excellent learning source. Someone who has no idea what a wiki is could learn more than enough about wiki's from this video.
